Varadero beach
Varadero is located on 22 km (14 miles) of white powdery sand that makes up the Península de Hicacos in the province of Matanzas. Varadero offers the most complete, full service beach and water sports vacation in Cuba. From Havana, the resort is 140 km (87 miles) east along the Via Blanca, a scenic highway that borders the northern coastline of Cuba. Varadero beach is unspoiled and it so large that is still uncrowded despite the number of large resorts and variety of water sports.
Varadero nautical activities; golf; nightlife; budget to luxurious wonderful all-inclusive hotels; fresh and healthy air; and most of all its clean, transparent, blue-green waters and white sand, make it very popular for visitors the world over. Several international flights arrive daily to Varadero or once in Cuba, you can make the way on your own, it is less than two hours drive from Havana.
